Preparation before cleaning
Things and materials: Prepare suitable cleaning materials, such as rubber gloves, brushes (hard brushes for stubborn stains, soft bristled brushes for precision parts), sponges, cloths, vacuum cleaners (if there are carpets or mats), buckets; Choose truly suitable cleaning agents, such as pet disinfectants and mild soapy water (avoid using cleaning agents containing irritating ingredients such as bleach and phenols to prevent severe damage to pets).
Settling pets: Before cleaning, move pets to a comfortable and well ventilated temporary residence, such as another clean cage, pet backpack, or spacious room, to ensure that pets are not disturbed or damaged during the cleaning process.
The cleaning process of different pet cages

Remove debris: Open the cage door and remove all pet supplies from the cage, such as food bowls, water bowls, toys, mats, etc.
Start organizing: Use a vacuum cleaner to remove hair, dust, food residue, and other debris from the cage. For some corners and crevices, small vacuum cleaners or soft bristled brushes can be used for cleaning.
Cleaning supplies: Use soapy water or pet cleaner to clean the taken out pet supplies, then rinse with clean water and dry in a ventilated place.
Cleaning the cage: Prepare an appropriate amount of cleaning solution in a water bucket, dip a sponge or soft bristled brush into the cleaning solution, and carefully scrub all parts of the cage, including the cage walls, bottom, door, etc. Regarding stubborn stains, you can use a hard bristled brush to gently wash them away, but be careful not to scratch the surface of the cage.
Rinse and disinfect: Rinse the cage clean with clean water to ensure there are no residues of cleaning agents. Then use pet disinfectant to thoroughly disinfect the cage, following the instructions for using the disinfectant. Generally, the disinfectant should be evenly sprayed on the outside of the cage and left to stand for a period of time (usually 10-15 minutes).
Sun drying: Place the disinfected cage in a well ventilated area to dry, preventing direct sunlight and avoiding deformation or fading of the cage.
